For this snack we use the Mayan pineapple, which is the best at the moment of being dehydrated because it preserves the natural sweetness of the fruit. The pineapples used for this product are grown in Puerto Rico - Meta, a department that is part of the eastern plains of Colombia.
Pineapple is one of the most appreciated fruits for its flavor, texture and aroma, not to mention its valuable nutritional and healing properties.
Apart from its sweetness, the pineapple is abundant in potassium, iodine and vitamins A, B and C. It contains 85% water, carbohydrates and fiber, and provides great nutritional and health benefits.
It is excellent for slimming diets. It prevents platelet aggregation, thus preventing blood from clotting and thus preventing embolisms and heart attacks.

The Roll Ups arise from the need to take advantage of the mango harvest, improving the quality of life of the farmer and his family, especially during the harvest season. As a solution to this situation, a fruit processing plant was installed in the municipality of Coello (Tolima), implementing an agro-industrial process to transform the mango into different products. With this development, NATUFRUM in collaboration with MACS COL not only seeks its own benefit, but also that of the farmers in the area, since this agroindustrial process seeks to encourage the development of the region through the implementation of technological processes to improve the profitability of the crop.
