As part of our commitment to the development and strengthening of the Colombian agro-industrial sector, throughout this month we have participated in the Business Sessions of the Contract Agriculture Strategy (Agricultura Por Contrato), endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia.
Contract Agriculture Strategy is a Sectoral Strategy promoted by the National Government, which encourages agricultural products sales and commits all National Entities, Territorial, Industry and Agricultural Associations, with the safe sale of the Agroindustrial products. This initiative has been implemented in Colombia since 2019 and represents a great opportunity and a huge challenge for MACS in terms of strengthening our portfolio, given the current situation in post-pandemic times and the reactivation of the local economy.
MACS seeks to strengthen and complement its product portfolio and solutions, as well as to articulate high value commercial relationships with agricultural colombian producers. The Business Sessions have resulted in very interesting opportunities, with innovative products, high export potential and top quality agricultural colombian products.
